Become a Certified BLS, ACLS, or PALS Instructor

Coach Nurse Academy — AHA Training Site | Greensburg, PA

This isn't a weekend course where you pay and walk out certified. You'll watch me teach, then assist, then teach under my direct evaluation — I decide pass or fail.

Why This Is So Intense

I once sat in a BLS class where the instructor spent forty-five minutes on his glory days as a firefighter, never touched a manikin, and passed everyone anyway. A bad instructor doesn't fail quietly — it fails forward, onto every patient the people in that room ever touch. That's why nobody gets handed a card here.

What You're Actually Getting

I can't guarantee you'll pass — that depends on you. What I do guarantee is real mentorship: direct observation, hands-on correction, and an honest evaluation from someone who has taught this material for years. You're not paying for a certificate. You're paying for the chance to actually earn one.

Do I need to already be a certified instructor?

No. This is a full instructor pathway — you'll be trained from the ground up through observation, assisting, and supervised teaching before you're evaluated.

Before you start, you'll need:

• A current AHA provider card in the course you want to teach (BLS, ACLS, or PALS)

• Completion of the AHA online Instructor Essentials course for that discipline

• Alignment through Coach Nurse Academy, an AHA Training Site (we help you complete this)

What if I don't pass the evaluation?

You keep your current provider card and clinical background. That's the floor, not the ceiling — the rest is built through the process.

Why does this cost more than a typical instructor course?

Because when you teach under my name, you're representing me every class, no exceptions. Cutting corners here costs more than money — it costs the people your students end up treating.
